GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Section 1:
General conditions

The general terms & conditions govern all contracts, supplies and other services agreed between the costumer and DIDDA
By placing an order, the costumer agrees to be bound by these general conditions. The costumers own general terms and conditions shall not be accepted.

Section 2:
Setting up a contract:

DIDDA will confirm the customer’s order by e-mail. Only when a payment has been successfully made, a contract is created. DIDDA is also entitled to refuse a supply or service. We do not accept orders from anyone under the age of 18.

Section 3:
Prices, costs and payment

The contract price is the current price at the moment when an order has been placed with the web-store.
The prices quoted in the web-store are exclusive of postage costs.
DIDDA is not bound by its offer in the event that there is any typesetting, printing of programming fault on its website.

The costumer will be invited to pay by bank transfer. This payment must be in accordance with the instructions given on the order confirmation sent by e-mail.
Once the payment has been successfully received, a contract is created.

Section 4:
Accomplishing orders:

DIDDA will act with the greatest care in processing orders for articles, and dispatch accepted orders as quickly as possible in the order in which they have been received. We ship the order to the address given by the costumer when placing his/her order.
The indicated delivery term is approximate only, and there is no right to compensation if actual delivery takes longer.

Section 5:
Delivery and production time

Production and delivery time of a new order
The making of a new bag takes between 3 and 6 weeks, depending on the choice of the leather/finishing and the current order book.
When an item is in stock, this will be shipped as soon as possible after receiving payment confirmation.
Shipping within Belgium is done by Bpost and provides you of a tracking number, and normally takes 2/3 working days. The cost is 6€ for Belgium, 8€ for The Netherlands & Luxemburg, 9,5 € for France & Germany and 15 € for most of the other European countries.
Please contact me (info@didda.be) for a quote of the shipment costs & delivery time outside the EU.

The costumer is responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the EU may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country, and must be borne by the recipient. DIDDA has no control over this, and it might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges.

Section 6:
The right to return articles

The costumer can return an article to DIDDA within fourteen (14) days of its delivery, without the need to give any reason. This does not count for custom-made orders, and orders bought in the prototype/outlet section.
The costumer will be refunded the amount paid to DIDDA for the said article. However, we do not refund the shipping costs for the returned article.
No refund will be paid in respect of articles returned to DIDDA after the said 14 day period. Articles must be returned in accordance with the instructions set out on the packing slip enclosed with the articles.
DIDDA is entitled to refuse to accept a returned article if the article has been used – revealing damaged used by costumer.

Section 7:
Error in delivery and complaints

If DIDDA delivers an article different from the one that has ben ordered, or if the article is damaged of defective, the costumer must notify DIDDA as soon as possible (not later than 7 working days) by e-mail: info@didda.be.
DIDDA will reimburse the purchase price plus postage charge.
Comments and complaints relating to an order, payment or delivery should be sent in writing to the following e-mail address: info@didda.be This writing has to contain the costumers name and order number included in the order confirmation.

Please note that leather is a natural product that once had a life, so your item can show some minor imperfections (which only add up to the charm).
Dimensions indicated on the web shop are approximate and can vary slightly depending on the type of leather used.

Section 8:
Confidentiality:
The encoding of his contact details by the buyer is essential for the delivery of the items ordered.
However, DIDDA ensures confidentiality and these information will only be used for the purpose of delivering and invoicing the goods ordered. In no case will the buyer’s contact details be passed on to third parties.

Section 9:
Settlements of Complaints and Disputes

DIDDA always aims that a client enjoys 100% satisfaction. In case you have complaints about our services, please contact us through info@didda.be. We will do everything to treat this within the next 14 days.
Belgian Law applies with the exclusion of any other law to all our contracts with our clients, so Belgian courts have exclusive competence in case of any dispute. There will always be referred to the Belgian Law of Commercial Practices and Consumer Protection when interpreting the current general terms of sale.
